The HP8757D scalar network analyzer can quickly and accurately measure insertion loss, gain, return loss, standing wave ratio, and power. The HP8757D, equipped with high-performance detectors, directional bridges, HP signal sources, and digital plotters, constitutes a complete measurement system with excellent performance. The HP8757D is characterized by three detectors (four inputs when using option 001) and four independent display channels, allowing for simultaneous proportional or non proportional measurement of the transmission and reflection characteristics of the device. Its 75dB dynamic range (+20~-55dBm) is suitable for measuring high suppression devices, and it can choose between AC (square wave modulation) or DC detection technology. The internal plotter/printer buffer allows measurement data to be directly sent to the plotter before proceeding with the following measurements, typically taking less than 5 seconds. HP8757D includes a user-friendly interface, menu drivers that simplify instrument operation, and buttons that directly call preset functions. In addition, HP8757D also features extreme testing, external disk storage/calling, and color display. Extreme testing shortens testing time by enabling the analyzer to quickly and objectively make qualified/unqualified judgments. External disk storage/calling enables engineers or skilled experts to pre configure measurement states, which are automatically called by technical personnel on the production line, resulting in shorter adjustment time for each workstation and improved testing integrity. Fine color display can simplify the resolution of measurement information while providing a display that satisfies technicians.
