Independent or computer-based data collection, portable and flexible solutions
The Hydra series has three models that can meet different application needs. The 2620A Hydra data collector is a compact front-end designed to be used in conjunction with a PC; The portable 2625A Hydra data logger is equipped with non-volatile memory that can store up to 2000 scan data for standalone applications; The 2635A Hydra data collector has a pluggable storage card that can save data and settings, making it the most versatile model - very suitable for remote monitoring and other applications.
All models can be conveniently set and configured from the front panel. In addition, all devices are equipped with bidirectional RS-232 communication interfaces, which can be controlled from the main computer. The RS-232 interface also supports serial printers. The optional GPIB/IEEE-488 interface is only compatible with 2620A.
The Hydra series is very sturdy and can work in different environments. Its working temperature range is from 0 to 60oC, and it meets the strictest impact and vibration standards. The sturdy metal casing of Hydra can effectively shield battery interference and ensure high measurement accuracy even for low-level signals. Analog circuits and digital circuits are also isolated, so you can directly measure high voltages (up to 300 V AC true RMS). The Hydra series complies with I E. C., C.E., and CSA safety standards. Not only that, all setting information is saved through battery power, so it is not affected by power failures. After a power outage, the Hydra series can resume scanning as all configuration information and saved data have not been lost.
The Hydra series is highly flexible and portable, with built-in signal conditioning and universal input modules, and its price can fully meet your budget. In loading or real-time mode, users can retrieve data from the Hydra unit through the RS-232 interface or modem.

It is an ideal choice for collecting and transmitting large amounts of data, as well as processing extended cycle data remotely.
flexibility
The Hydra data collector is equipped with a 256 KB PCMCIA card and can be optionally paired with a 1 MB, 2 MB, or 4 MB storage card to meet data storage needs. Import data from the storage card through the Hydra RS-232 port, optional 263XA-803 external storage card drive, or through the computer's standard PCMCIA slot. While recording data to the storage card, it can also be transmitted to the computer in real-time.
Quick Settings
Simply press the buttons on the front panel or load the configuration file from the storage card to complete the device setup.
Fault insurance features
When the battery voltage is low or the storage capacity on the memory card is insufficient, the Hydra data collector will issue an alarm. When the storage card is removed or replaced, its internal storage buffer can store up to 70 scans of data.
