The GSS6100 simulator is a comprehensive low-cost single channel RF generator used for testing satellite navigation equipment in manufacturing, laboratory, and field environments. GSS6100 can generate GPS, L1, C/A code signals or SBAS signals based on spatial augmentation system (WAAS/EGNOS/MSAS). The standard IEEE-488 GPIB and USB interfaces provide a mechanism for integrating GSS6100 into user testing environments.
GSS6100 also supports synchronization with other systems through its 1PPS flip-flop with frequency standard input and 1PPS output
GSS6100 provides control over various aspects of signal generation, including PRN, power level, Doppler, simulation time, and signal message content. This feature can be called in independent interactive mode using SimCHAN software provided randomly for the Microsoft Windows operating system, or in fully integrated ATE mode through GPIB control interface.
Typical applications include GPS and wireless positioning production testing ATE, error analysis, parameter evaluation, and prototype transmitters, supporting both GPS and SBAS signals in one device.
