The VTC video testing system is an ideal testing platform for research and development, which is a functional supplement to existing R&S VTS compact video testers and R&S VTE video testers. R&S's products can now meet the testing needs in the consumer electronics production chain. VTC is a modular testing platform designed specifically for testing video and audio interfaces, providing a comprehensive solution that integrates a wide range of testing functions. VTC provides real-time protocol analysis and multimedia content analysis, and can modify testing requirements and solutions according to specific testing environments to meet complex R&D applications. The modular design of VTC allows for continuous upgrades to meet new standards, making it currently the most flexible testing solution.
The VTC video testing system can accommodate up to 8 testing modules. Including testing modules for High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) and Mobile High Definition Interface (MHL), which are commonly used for testing consumer electronic devices. We are also about to launch analog audio/video interface modules and modulator modules for broadcasting and television standards.
VTC has real-time analysis function for video and audio parameters, combined with HDMI testing module, which can not only analyze HDMI signal sources, but also test HDMI receiving devices. The R&S VTC supports HDMI 1.4c protocol and can achieve protocol consistency testing. For different interfaces, Rohde&Schwarz provides testing software that enables automated testing. VT-B2361 HDMI Receiver Test Module has the ability to test Ultra HD (UD) resolution, which means 4K x 2K resolution, suitable for high-end screens.
Rohde&Schwarz offers multiple options for automatic analysis and testing of tested videos. These options can be used to test MHL and HDMI signals. The VT-K2100 video analysis option can test the Level and Timing of each part of the video signal, enabling it to verify whether color transmission is correct. The VT-K2110 video inspection option and VT-K2111 video distortion analysis option assist users in analyzing the differences between two images. While displaying test results graphically, VTC also displays objective measurement values in real-time, such as PSNR, SSIM, and MOS. Through this function, it is possible to locate bit errors in video content. VTC can even be equipped with an audio analysis option to test audio level, frequency response, phase response, signal-to-noise ratio, distortion, and crosstalk.
The R&S VTC video testing system is equipped with an 11 inch touch screen for easy operation; It can also be remotely operated through a local area network using a PC or tablet. The VTC video testing system supports multiple languages including Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. The VXI-11 interface equipped with it enables users to easily integrate VTC into automated testing systems. VTC provides users with a future oriented scalable platform, where they can configure and upgrade VTC according to their specific testing needs to meet new standards and technologies. For VTC investments, * will become outdated.
