1. High resolution display with six input channels
It can perform synchronous measurements of up to 6 input channels at a speed of 2MS/s (16 bits). The WT1800E features a high-resolution 8.4-inch XGA display that can split screen to view up to 6 waveforms and display up to 12 pages of different measurement parameters, making it an ideal tool for efficiency testing in variable frequency drive motors, renewable energy technologies, and traction applications such as pumps, fans, and hybrid/electric vehicles.
2. High accuracy within a wide range
It can accurately measure voltage, current, and frequency over a wide range. The basic power accuracy of WT1800E can reach 1% to 110% of the selected voltage and current ranges. This is equivalent to a voltage of 15mV to 1100V rms 0.1mA to 5.5Arms (5A input unit) and 10mA to 55A rms (50A input unit) current. Due to the minimization of the impact of low power factor error (apparent power± 0.07%), WT1800E can also ensure measurement accuracy under conditions of large phase shift and high frequency.
3. Flexible range setting
Cancelling unnecessary range changes can make signal tracking faster. Through the range setting function of WT1800E, users can select the input range based on their specific use cases, making it easier to quickly achieve the optimal range setting. This reduces the time spent on repetitive production testing, such as the following settings that are often executed on the production line: set to OFF→ 100V→ OFF and so on.
4. Harmonic analysis
Even if the data update cycle is only 50ms, WT1800E can also analyze up to 500 harmonics at a fundamental frequency of 50/60Hz. In addition to power parameters, WT1800E also offers two options for harmonic analysis.

Used for analyzing fundamental, harmonic components, and total harmonic distortion (THD)

5. Power integration and automatic range
It can measure the energy buying and selling of the power grid or the charging and discharging of batteries. Through the power integration function, WT1800E can integrate positive and negative instantaneous values. When there is a significant difference in load conditions such as transitioning from standby mode to operating mode, WT1800E can also measure total energy (Wh) and current (Ah). When an input signal begins to fall out of the expected range, this function can automatically adjust the range and continue to perform the integration operation of the measured value.
6. Rapid data collection
Through the high-speed data acquisition function, the SigmaUrms of the DC signal and three-phase equipment can be calculated every 5ms (external synchronization set to OFF) or 1ms~100ms (external synchronization set to ON) based on the frequency of the clock signal Sigma-Irms, Sigma-P.
7. Flexible data updates
The measurement cycle can be manually or automatically set. You can set 9 data update cycles between 50ms and 20s, or automatically change the data update rate according to the fluctuation of input frequency. This function is particularly useful when measuring input signals such as motors whose frequency depends on RPM.
8. DC power supply for AC/DC current sensor
The WT1800E is equipped with a DC power supply for the AC/DC current sensor CT series. By using dedicated connecting wires and splitters, WT1800E can measure high currents. By connecting sensors in this way, the signal-to-noise ratio and anti-interference ability can be improved.
9. Evaluate the motor function
WT1800E can not only measure electrical parameters, but also measure speed/direction, torque, mechanical power, synchronous speed, slip, electrical angle, motor efficiency, and overall system efficiency through simulation and pulse output of torque and speed sensors after installing motor evaluation function options.
10. Application Software - WTViewerEfree
Measurement results can be easily viewed, controlled, and downloaded using a PC. WTViewerEfree is a free software that connects WT1800E with a PC through a communication interface, allowing easy access to numerical, waveform, trend, and harmonic data on the PC.
11. Event triggering and customization
Through the event triggered function, users can set limits on the power, current, or other parameters entering or falling out of a specified range. If the data meets the triggering conditions, it can be stored, printed, or saved to storage devices such as USB. Custom operations can define and use up to 20 formulas.
