HP8590E series spectrum analyzer
The HP8590E series spectrum analyzer has various performance and functions, and its price is also determined to meet the affordability of users. Users can choose from inexpensive and basic performance analyzers to high-performance analyzers. Regardless of which analyzer they choose, they will feel that the HP8590E series spectrum analyzer is easy to use and highly reliable. The scalable nature of these instruments makes it easy to meet the increasing measurement requirements of users through configuration.
By using application testing software, the analyzer can be adapted for specific testing tasks such as cable television, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), radio frequency communication, noise figure, and scalar network analysis and measurement. Users can also purchase various printers, plotters, and other accessories.
A spectrum analyzer suitable for various application scenarios
Users can modify the testing functions of this series of spectrum analyzers to meet specific measurement requirements. The memory card reader can load measurement specific software. The complex measurement program is simplified into one key input. The HP8590E series' unique option plug-in box allows for the addition of circuit card options for completing additional functions. The optional built-in tracking generator provides a synchronous scanning signal source for excitation response measurement. Operating any HP8590E series spectrum analyzer only requires minimal training.
Easy to use
There are many features that make control of measurements and analysis of measurement results easier. This series of spectrum analyzers has built-in automatic calibration to ensure measurement consistency. Panoramic scanning can quickly reposition the signal without the need for repeated scanning. The internal memory can store over 50 traces, while using a memory card reader can store more traces in RAM. The time and date are marked in a standard manner. By using HP-IB/parallel or RS-232/parallel interface selection, the results can be directly output to a printer or plotter. This option supports HP printers and certain specified printers.
PC software for HP8590E series use
The newly developed HPBenchLink spectrum analyzer PC software has established a convenient communication link between the PC and the HP8590E series spectrum analyzer. By fully utilizing the Windows interface, users can easily transfer screen images or trace data through HP-IB or RS-232 interfaces, simplifying the process of obtaining, analyzing, and recording measurement results in a PC environment.
HP8591E, 8593E, 8594E, 8595E, and 8596E spectrum analyzers
These harmonic spectrum analyzers provide powerful comprehensive measurement capabilities for RF, microwave, and digital applications. Five models offer frequency coverage options starting from 9kHz and extending to 26.5GHz.
The performance indicators include low phase noise of -105dBc at 30kHz frequency offset and frequency synthesis accuracy of 2.1kHz at 1GHz. By utilizing the available precision frequency reference, the frequency synthesis accuracy can be improved to 210Hz. The second-order and third-order dynamic ranges are 77 and 90 dB, respectively. When using option 130, the calibrated amplitude range is+30~-130dBm, but the calibrated screen displays 70dB. By utilizing optional circuit cards, narrow resolution bandwidths of 30, 100, 200 EMI, and 30 Hz can be provided. The circuit card can be installed on these analyzers at any time.
Standard features
The window function divides the display screen into two horizontal areas, allowing users to zoom in and out of key parts of the measurement trace, or display test data and traces simultaneously. It has many standard single button measurement functions, including frequency scale table, FFT (Fast Fourier Transform), NdB bandwidth, third-order interception, amplitude modulation percentage, and adjacent channel power. The built-in memory card reader allows the use of 32k, 128k, 256k, and 512k memory cards to input measurement application software, user specific programs, and measurement data.
Various options available
The increasing number of circuit card options provides more measurement functions. Circuit cards are easy to fit into built-in plug-in slots, and most circuit cards can be updated.
The circuit card options include:
Narrow resolution bandwidth of 30, 100, 200 EMI, and 300 Hz
Timed gating spectrum analysis
"Analog+" display and fast time-domain scanning
Amplitude/frequency modulation demodulator
TV receiver/video tester
Quasi peak detector
Noise coefficient measurement
A demodulator for CT2-CAI and DECT
Digital demodulator and/or digital signal processing for wireless communication standards such as GSM900, DCS-1800, PCS-1900, NADC-TDMA, PHS, CDMA, and PDC. It can provide a built-in 1.8GHz tracking generator (upgradable) for HP8591E, and a 2.9GHz tracking generator for HP8593E, 8594E, 8595E, and 8596E.
